Charles Bell was a wonderful neighbor in Greenwich, CT for many years.
Our friendship has lasted through the years despite many miles of separation. He always was the consummate gentleman and he will be missed.

In 1989 I met Charlie one snowy December evening in Raleigh . He interviewed me that night and hired me a few days later to be part of the startup team for TIMCO.

We are heartbroken to lose Charlie. He was an amazing uncle and brother-in-law. He blessed our lives in so many ways. Always a true gentleman. I know he is with Lee watching over all of us.

Mr. Bell was an incredible man. When I was little and he would come to visit, I thought Mr. Bell was my grandfather; I was convinced I had three grandfathers. Admired by many, Mr. Bell put others first throughout his life. Every time I saw Mr. Bell, he encouraged me and always showed interest in my life. Not just any ordinary man cares for others and what happens in their lives. God places people in our lives for a reason!

Charles or "Mr Bell" to me
He was such a loving, kind, gracious man who has forever left an imprint on my heart. I loved listening to all of his memories at West Point, how he met Lea, his days at Seaboard and the start of TIMCO. He was respected and admired by all those who knew him. Always a gentleman, I am grateful for our visits & the time my children spent with him to experience his wisdom and
